Clark, Atcheson & Reisert was founded in 1993 by veteran maritime lawyers who began their careers in large established New York City admiralty firms. Educated at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, the firm’s founders were equipped with commercial shipping experience, both at sea and ashore. They spoke the language of the industry, understood their clients’ needs and could more readily recommend solutions. Because of this, matters could often be handled by a single partner and results were achieved without additional attorneys and legal staff. The new firm emphasized personal service and efficiency and as a consequence, the client’s objectives were achieved at less cost.
